Every public asset accounted for, every change on the record
Public bodies answer to auditors, committees and citizens for assets bought with public money. FixedAsset Pro keeps who changed what, when and why on every record, lets you set approval procedures to your own rules and can run on your own servers. It does not by itself make an organisation compliant with any rule; it gives you the records to show what was done.
- Departments, municipal bodies, public undertakings, universities and hospitals
- Assets spread over many offices, schools, depots or wards
- Written procedures for purchase, transfer, condemnation and disposal
- Audit by a government auditor or an internal audit wing

Frequently asked questions
Is the product certified for government use?
No certification is claimed. We describe the controls that exist (scoped access, the sealed audit trail, evidence retention, on-premise deployment) so your IT and audit teams can assess them against your own requirements.
Can approval steps follow our delegation of financial powers?
Yes. Chains are set by role or user with conditions on transaction type, amount and office, so a condemnation above a limit can need a committee approval and below it an officer's.
Can it run without the internet?
Yes, the desktop edition runs on your LAN: one server PC holds the database and client PCs connect over the office network. AI and OCR run locally on that server.
How are condemned or auctioned assets recorded?
As a disposal by sale, scrap, donation or write-off, with technical, finance and management review, the gain or loss and the disposal journal. The asset's history stays on record.
Can we get documentation for our procurement file?
Yes. Book a demo or request a quote, and we will share the installation guide, system requirements and the security controls description in writing.
