Several companies, one set of controls
Mid-market groups run several legal entities, each with its own books, approvers and auditors. FixedAsset Pro keeps them in one organisation with a company and branch scope on every screen, the same depreciation engine for all of them and an audit trail that cannot be switched off.
- A group of companies with branches in several cities or states
- Thousands of assets across plant, IT, vehicles and buildings
- A central finance team with statutory and internal auditors every year
- An ERP or accounting system the register has to agree with

Frequently asked questions
Can each company keep its own depreciation policy?
Yes. Each book carries its own policy for the month rule, low-value write-off, true-up and disposal day, and categories can use SLM or WDV. Companies Act and Income-tax books are kept for every company.
Which accounting systems can it connect to?
Tally can be pulled for reconciliation today, and journals can be exported or sent to an ERP target. File-mode exchange exists for larger ERPs; direct connectors are listed as planned on the roadmap. See Integrations for the current list.
Can our auditors get their own access?
Yes. Read-only auditor roles can be scoped to a company, and the audit cockpit, exceptions, evidence vault and audit trail are available to them without edit rights.
How do we close a period across several companies?
Each company has a close checklist with blocking items; periods are closed and reopened with a note and a financial year can be locked. Every close is in the audit trail.
Can we migrate several registers at once?
Each company's register is imported through the same wizard, with saved column mappings, a dry run and opening balances for both books tied to the audited totals.
