Find your way around the web workspace
Signing in
Sign in with your Email / Username and Password. If your organisation uses single sign-on, use the Microsoft, Google or SSO button instead. If two-step verification is on for you, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app next. See Sign-in security and two-step verification.
After signing in you land on your home dashboard. What you see depends on your roles: menus and buttons you are not allowed to use are hidden, or shown as disabled with the reason.
The parts of the screen
- Top menu bar. The main menus: Dashboard, Masters, Assets, Transactions, Accounting, Maintenance, Verification, Audit, Reports, AI, Workflow, Administration and Help, plus global search, the create (+) button, notifications and your user menu.
- Context bar. Under the top menu: where you are (breadcrumbs) and the Financial Year, Company and Branch that every page uses.
- Left rail. Quick access to the first page of each menu; expand it to see the full menu tree.
- Status footer. Whether you are connected, when the data was loaded, and the version.
Financial year, company and branch
Lists, dashboards and reports use the context bar, so check it first when figures look different from what you expect.
- Financial Year: dashboards and financial figures are calculated for the selected year.
- Company: if you have access to more than one company of your organisation, switch here. Each company keeps its own data.
- Branch: narrows lists and dashboards to one branch. You only see the branches your administrator has given you.
Search and the command palette
Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac), or click the search box in the top bar.
- Type at least two characters to search assets by code, name or serial number.
- Below the assets you find the screens you may open, recently visited pages and quick-create actions.
- Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open and Esc to close.
The full list of shortcuts is under Help › Keyboard Shortcuts.
Working with lists
- Click a column header to sort; click again to reverse.
- Use Columns to show, hide, reorder and resize columns. Your layout is saved to your profile.
- Applied filters appear as chips above the table; remove one or use Reset filters.
- Select rows with the check boxes to see bulk actions.
Forms check your entries as you type. If someone else changed the same record in the meantime, you are told who and when and asked to reload, instead of overwriting their work.
Your preferences
Open your user menu (top right) › Preferences to choose the language (English, हिन्दी, العربية), theme, contrast, text size, density, number format (IN for lakh / crore grouping, INTL for international) and date format, and your default dashboard.
