Run, export and schedule reports

Last updated Oct 29, 2026

The Report Centre

The Report Centre lists every report you are allowed to run, grouped by area:

  • Asset: Fixed Asset Register, assets by location, department, custodian, vendor or cost centre, category-wise and branch-wise summaries.
  • Finance (Companies Act): depreciation register and summaries, Fixed Asset Schedule (Schedule III), additions, disposals, gain or loss, CWIP.
  • Income tax: block-wise depreciation under s.32, Form 3CD clause 18, the 180-day split, additional depreciation, section 50, Companies Act vs income-tax depreciation, deferred tax working.
  • Operations, verification and audit: maintenance, warranty, AMC and insurance, verification summary, missing assets, CARO 2020 3(i)(b), audit trail and data quality.

Web: open Reports › Report Centre, or a family directly from the Reports menu (Asset Reports, Financial Reports, Depreciation Reports, Asset Movement, Operational, Compliance, Audit Reports and others). Desktop: Reports › Report Centre (F7). Use the search box to find a report by name.

Run and export a report

  1. Open the report.
  2. Fill in the parameters: the date range (presets such as this financial year or last month), the book, branch, category and so on. On the web, the Financial Year, Company and Branch in the context bar apply too.
  3. Preview the result.
  4. Export it as PDF, Excel, CSV or Word. You need the report export permission.

On the web, a large export can be prepared in the background: you are notified when it is ready and find it under Reports › Exports (My exports). A prepared file expires after a while; export again if it has. On the desktop, exports of more than 5,000 rows run as a background job listed in Tools › My Jobs, and a prepared file is kept for 24 hours.

Save and schedule (web)

  • Save a report with its filters to run it again later; it appears in Saved Reports.
  • Use Schedule to have a report delivered automatically to authorised recipients; see Scheduled Reports.
  • Report History lists the reports you ran.

Build your own report

Open Reports › Custom Report Builder (web) or Reports › Report Builder (desktop). You need the report design permission.

  1. Choose a dataset and give the report a title.
  2. Pick the columns and their order.
  3. Add filters (with no filters, every row is included).
  4. Choose grouping, sort order and totals.
  5. Preview and save. You can share it with everyone in the company.

Tips

  • Amounts are shown in Indian lakh / crore format unless you change your preferences.
  • On the desktop, printed PDF reports are currently in English, even when you work in Hindi or Arabic.
