AMC, warranty, insurance and calibration
AMC contracts
Open Maintenance › AMC Contracts.
- Create a contract with its period, value, GST, SLA and the assets it covers.
- Record each service visit, mark missed visits and log calls.
- Renew the contract before expiry, or terminate it.
On the web, a renewal is a new draft contract that goes through approval, and the current contract stays active until the renewal is approved. On the desktop, tiles show contracts expiring within 90 days and visits due.
Warranty
Open Maintenance › Warranty Management (Warranty on the desktop). Warranties are created from the asset's warranty dates, or added by hand. On the desktop, expiry tiles show warranties ending in 90, 60, 30 and 7 days. A warranty claim moves through Draft, Submitted, Approved, Settled and Closed.
Insurance
Open Maintenance › Insurance.
- Record each policy with the insurer, sum insured, premium, GST on the premium and the assets covered. Policies can be endorsed and renewed.
- A claim moves through Draft, Intimated, Under Survey, Submitted, Approved and Settled.
- A claim can raise a repair work order (partial loss) or start a disposal (total loss).
On the desktop, Coverage gaps lists assets with no active policy or insured below their value.
Calibration
Open Maintenance › Calibration to record results point by point. Pass or fail is checked as you type, and a result out of tolerance needs an impact assessment. A second person reviews each record: the person who recorded a result cannot approve it.
Expiry alerts
Notification rules decide who is alerted before contracts, warranties, policies, licences and calibrations expire. Administrators set them in Administration › Notification Rules on the web, or Administration › Notification Settings on the desktop. Expiring cover also appears on the dashboards.
